    About Us

Welcome to Justfamilies.org, a family law blog  focused on sharing an academic perspective on the issues that affect children and families.  This blog was created by New York Law School’s Diane Abbey Law Center and is run by students as a forum to share their thoughts on issues that come up in class,  at internships, and in the news to have an ongoing discussion about the legal aspects involved in families.

The Homepage is where you can find all of the blog posts, recent conversations, and categories of topics.  We invite guest bloggers, who deal with family issues in their daily lives – whether they are students, attorneys, judges, agency members, or just have some experience with the legal aspects of families.

The Forum page is where we invite you to share your thoughts, comments, interesting articles, and anything else you think would contribute to the educated discussion.

The Essays page is where academic articles are and will be posted.  If you have an article you would like to share on our site, please don’t hesitate to contact us at justfamilies@nyls.edu.

The Court Docs page is where we will be providing information on important decisions and new laws affecting family law.

We hope you find Justfamilies.org  informational and invite you to join our team by posting!
